Cable Explorer
Interactive installation revealing the hidden global network of undersea data cables
Cable Explorer is an interactive installation within City in the Cloud – Data on the Ground, an exhibition at the Architekturmuseum der TUM that makes the physical infrastructure of the cloud visible.
Role
As Lead Developer, I developed and delivered the Cable Explorer installation end-to-end across the full software stack, including rendering pipeline, data visualizations, UI, navigation, and state management.
Together with Ilina Kokaleska, responsible for industrial design, I co-developed the haptic interface control unit used across two exhibits, Cable Explorer and Data Soil. I was in charge of prototyping and development of the electronic architecture of the device.
