2. Hosting and technical delivery

This website is hosted on Vercel. When you visit this site, technically necessary connection data is processed in server log files (for example IP address, date/time, requested URL, browser type and version, operating system, referrer) to ensure secure and reliable operation and delivery.

These log files are retained only as long as technically necessary for operation and security purposes.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in secure and stable website operation).

3. Contact requests

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to Formspree and processed for handling your inquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data is kept only as long as required for processing your request, follow-up communication, or statutory retention obligations.

4. External media (YouTube/Vimeo)

YouTube and Vimeo content is not loaded automatically. A connection to these providers is established only if you click the play button on an external video.

Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR given by your explicit click on the play button for the specific video. This interaction is treated as a request to load third-party content.

5. Web analytics

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate traffic and usage patterns. According to the provider, this service is designed to work without setting tracking cookies.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring and improving website performance and content quality).

6. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use marketing or tracking cookies through first-party scripts. Third-party providers (such as YouTube or Vimeo) may process data or set cookies after you activate an external video.

7. Storage duration

Unless a more specific retention period is stated in the sections above, your personal data will be stored only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. If you request deletion or revoke your consent, your data will be erased unless we are legally required to retain it (for example under tax or commercial law). In such cases, deletion occurs once the retention obligation expires.

8. Recipients and international transfers

Service providers used on this website: Vercel (hosting), Vercel Analytics (usage analytics), Formspree (contact form), and optionally YouTube/Vimeo when external media is enabled.

Processing in third countries (especially the United States) may occur. Where required, transfers are based on appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (for example EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

9. SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the lock icon in your browser's address bar.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access (Art. 15) — request information about whether and how your data is processed
  • Rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18) — request that processing be limited under certain conditions
  • Data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation
  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3)) — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at partederphilipp@gmail.com.

If you believe that processing of your data infringes data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority (see below).

11. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests), you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. If you object, we will no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
